BOUDOIR FAQ

Do you share all your client's images?

No! Everything posted to my social media or website has been approved by the client. You do not have to have your images posted! You also are allowed to ask me to remove your photos at any time, no questions asked.

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely! If a photographer ever says you can't bring someone to the session that's a huge red flag! Bring someone who can help you feel more comfortable. Stylists are also more than welcome to join if you'd like help with touch ups during the session. Please make sure they are respectful and will not be distracting. If we are in a small space they will need to make sure they are not intruding on the photoshoot.

What should I wear?

Choose comfortable lingerie or outfits made from soft, breathable fabrics to ensure you feel at ease and relaxed. You can also consider using items such as robes and shirts , to feel a little more comfortable and covered up if needed. This provides options for transitioning between different looks during the photoshoot while staying relaxed.

Remember, you can go as simple or as extravagant as you like. Whether it's a basic yet comfortable set or a luxurious, opulent outfit, choose what makes you feel your best.

What can I do before the shoot to prep?

Prior to the photoshoot, engage in self-care practices such as moisturizing your skin, having a relaxing bath, or meditating to boost your confidence. Make sure to shave or wax ahead of time if you choose to, and exfoliate your skin to prevent bumps.
Before the photoshoot, take some time to move in your outfit. Make sure it fits properly, looks good from every angle, and is comfortable during various poses.

Test out your makeup look ahead of time or chat with a makeup artist!

Make sure to try out your makeup look before the shoot especially if you are going for a new look! If you're looking for a professional makeup artist, check out some of my suggestions below and have a chat with them about the look you'd like to achieve!

Can you help me print a book?

I don't offer printing services directly, but I'd be happy to help you! One of the best options I've come across is The Boudoir Album. They provide top-notch quality and prioritize safety with their all-women team. Since access to their services is for photographers only, I’d need to assist with the process.

Here’s the link: https://theboudoiralbum.com/. While they are on the pricier side, their quality is unmatched—the albums have sturdy pages that won't bend easily and there are multiple options for covers and materials!
